Gewürze Lodner Organic Green Fennel Seed

Fennel seeds are originally from the Mediterranean and have a sweet flavor similar to anise. The flavor unfolds particularly well whether it is whole or crushed in breads and baked goods. Typically fennel seeds are used in the Italian Finocchiona salami, but they also fit well with fish dishes, stews, meat dishes and curries. Fennel is also part of the Chinese five-spice powder.
