Arche Naturküche Organic Fruit Tart Glaze, Clear, 15 g

Fruit tarts are among the most popular cakes in summer. They're quick to make and a delicious way to enjoy fresh, seasonal fruit and berries. The final flourish on a fruit tart though is the glaze - but you don't always have to use gelatine.

Arche offers you the alternative to a gelatine glaze: their organic clear glaze made from agar agar is vegan and gluten-free and can be prepared with water for a clear glaze or juice such as with red grape juice or cherry juice for red glaze.

Dosage: One sachet is enough for 250 ml of liquid and makes enough glaze for one fruit tart.

Preparation:

1. Mix one sachet of organic fruit tart glaze with 250 ml of cold water or juice. Make sure there are no lumps.
2. Bring to the boil in a saucepan while stirring.
3. Remove from heat and let cool for about 25 minutes.
4. The vegetable agar agar gels as it cools. As soon as the glaze starts to thicken (please keep checking regularly while it cools), spread it quickly on the prepared fruit tart and let it cool down and set completely before cutting and serving.
