Bake Affair Cookies, Matcha Cookies (335 g)

The baking mix for cookies by Bake Affair is a must-have in every cookie lover's pantry! The baking mix contains carefully selected ingredients and makes delicious cookies that are soft on the inside and delightfully crispy on the outside. With their perfect consistency, these cookies are an irresistible temptation and the perfect choice for every occasion - whether as a little snack between meals, a sweet treat to share with friends or on the cookie platter on the coffee table for guests.

Directions:

1. Take 44 g butter - let it soften by either taking it out of the fridge 1 to 2 hours before baking or warming it up in the microwave for 30 seconds.
2. Open the baking mix pack and take out the sachet with the sugar.
3. Beat the sugar and softened butter with 25 g water (3 - 4 tablespoons) in a large bowl.
4. Next, add the baking mix and stir for about 1 minute until it forms a smooth dough.
5. Form 8 balls of around 50 g each and press them flat (approx. 2 cm high). Alternatively, use an ice cream scoop - in which case, no flattening is necessary.
6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (a plate or board will do as well), cover with plastic wrap or a clean cloth and refrigerate for 1 - 2 hours.
7. 15 minutes before baking the cookies, preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat).
8. Place the cookies 5 cm apart on the baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 10 - 15 minutes.

Tips:

• Place only one baking sheet in the oven at a time.
• You can also freeze the raw cookies and bake them whenever you need them at 180 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 22 minutes.
• Storing the cookies in a container with a tight lid will keep them fresh for days.
