Ghee (clarified butter) is an important ingredient in Ayurvedic cooking and should be consumed on a daily basis according to the Ayurvedic texts. It is a high-quality food source. Ghee is a good alternative to butter, oil and fat and gives dishes a nutty flavour.

It is ideal for roasting, baking, stewing, braising, roasting spices and refining Indian and Ayurvedic dishes. Classic Ayurveda organic ghee comes from a small dairy farm in Austria and is always prepared according to traditional Ayurvedic methods from freshly made butter.

This organic clarified butter is made from high-quality organic butter from grass and hay fed cows in the Alps. This ghee is not made from previously made butter. Cream from fresh milk is made into butter which is processed to make ghee on the very next day. The freshly made ghee is filled into glass jars when it is still warm. The lid is carefully closed to seal it in.
