Description
The Tagine is traditionally a dish from North African cuisine and owes its name to the special vessel in which it is cooked. The conical lid sits high above the base and stays cooler. When the steam rises and precipitates on the lid, it condenses and runs down the conical top into the lower part, which allows a gentle, tasty and nutrient-rich cooking.
