nu3 Organic Matcha, 40 g

Matcha is deeply rooted in Japanese culture and has been highly appreciated and valued for a long time. Only the finest first first green tea leaves are used to make the fine matcha powder by nu3 which gives it a particularly fine aroma. After harvesting, the leaves are sorted and crushed into tencha. This is then slowly ground into a fine powder in granite mills. Matcha comes from the Kagoshima region in south-west Japan where traditional cultivation methods and the highest quality go hand in hand. Before harvesting, the tea plants are covered to increase the chlorophyll content and reduce the fructose content. This ensures the special flavour.

Method of preparation:

• Boil water and let it cool to around 80°C.
• Add matcha powder: Measure out ½ teaspoon of powder and add to a matcha bowl.
• Infuse: Pour 150 ml hot water (80°C) over the powder.
• Whisk: Use a matcha whisk to whisk the tea until a fine layer of foam forms.
• Enjoy: Take your time and drink the prepared matcha in small sips from the bowl.
