Description

Quinoa, a pseudocereal, is the seed of a herbaceous annual plant cultivated by Andean civilisations such as the Incas. In their language, they also called it "the mother of all seeds" - a huge compliment and an indicator of its high social status. It is very rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals as well as tryptophan, an amino acid that is said to boost serotonin production in the brain.

The gluten-free flour can be used for baking and cooking both sweet as well as savoury foods but should be mixed with flour(s) containing gluten.
